My Puddin'

We had a busy yet productive Labor Day weekend.  I dropped anna's final nursing so Trev took Tuesday off to help me catch up on sleep.  Seems all pansy like of me but, really, my kids do not take well to weaning so I knew I'd need the extra day.  It was awesome having him home for 4 days in a row but, not going to lie, I spent all day today trying to get things back to normal around here.

jake is so not looking forward to school.  I think its causing him to regress a bit.  He's trying to act a bit more babyish and is so not fun to get to go potty.  Hopefully its just nerves.  I go with him tomorrow so maybe that will help him feel a bit better about the whole situation.

anna is no longer nursing.  I'm sad.  She's sad.  She's waking up at 4:30 wanting to be soothed.  It sucks. She's not going back down until nap time.  I'm worried that she's not getting enough sleep.  She's teething, too.  Sigh. She'll work it out.  She gives everyone dirty looks now when they don't do what she wants.  She gives the dirty look and depending on the severity of the infraction may burst out into tears.  Trev says she learned that from me.  I'll own up to it.  I suppose she did.

Here's jake's intense concentration look.  He chews his tongue when things get real intense.
