Daughters.  They are these mystical creatures that mothers love and fear.  I've never known a simple mother/daughter relationship.  There are so many ups and downs.  So many hopes and dreams.  Every day there is this desire to get a glimpse of a human being that will be happy, kind, hopeful and brave.  I can't imagine the day when I give the goodbye hug to my baby girl, get in my car, and drive away remembering all the glimpses.
