There really is no feeling like being a mom. It’s unbelievable how our children's happiness and sadness can be all encompassing to our own souls. As my children get older, my focus becomes less about physical exhaustion and more about the emotional toll. There’s nothing that can bring elation more than your child coming home with a smile and joyful eyes and nothing more devastating than tears and fearful perceptions.

My husband once told me that I set the tone for the family. Whether its intentional or not, mothers tend to captain the ship. Even when we feel like its total devastation, its not. Its the tone that is perfect for your people. Moms do a lot of living for their people. I hope you are letting your people do some living for you today. You deserve it.
