There are many things in life that I just assume everyone knows. Like the fact that there are bathrooms in public places. I didn't realize that I would have to tell anyone that until I started potty training jake. I just assumed he'd know that 99% of the places we went would have bathrooms. Why would he??
The proper way to hold scissors is another one. I assumed that once I told jake which fingers go in which holes that he'd just naturally start cutting with his thumb up. Nope. Had to teach him.
Like every boy I've met, he does know how to get pee on the toilet seat. Didn't have to teach him.
